What is Mangotree.ph?
Mangotree.ph is an image bank which stores and licenses out royalty-free stock images of member contributors. Selling of a license is done through Mangotree.ph's proprietary online system which allows easy cataloging and searching of images to suit a variety of needs.
How can I upload an image?
Images maybe uploaded by member contributors. Becoming a member contributor is FREE, all you have to do is to complete the requirements enumerated in our Contributor's Application Page, upon completion of the requirements you will be allowed to upload you stock images which will then be sold through Mangotree.ph's online system.
How much royalty will I receive for my images?
You can receive a maximum of 60% royalty for every purchase of your stock images. For new contributors the base royalty is 25%, subject to certain meritous conditions that will allow you an increased royalty rate. Some examples listed below:
Who will own the copyright to the uploaded images?
You will retain all copyrights to images that you upload to our site.
What are the requirements in uploading a stock image?
Stock images must be:
- in JPEG format only.
- should be at least 2,500 pixels on the widest side.
- should be owned by you.
- should meet the quality standards of Mangotree.ph
Is there a limit to the number of images that I can upload?
No, we in fact encourage everyone to upload as much images as they are able to.
What image size and quality should I shoot and upload?
You should set your camera to the largest possible image size and the highest quality setting.
Can I upload images that were not taken with an SLR Camera?
Yes, we accept all types of images whether they were taken from a SLR or point and shoot camera. What is important to us is the quality of the images provided.
How do I receive my royalty payments?
Royalties are automatically credited to the contributor's account in real-time and may be viewed by the contributor whenever he/she is logged in. Check payments will be made upon request of the contributor in writing through the appropriate internal forms and may be picked up in our office or mailed to the contributor.
How can I improve the searchability of my images?
Your images may be easily found by providing accurate and relevant information in the entry fields upon uploading of images. By providing the relevant name, description and keywords to your images, mangotree buyers be able to easily find your images and increase your chances of a purchase.
What will the stock images be used for?
Stock images may be used in many different ways, some of which are enumerated below:

What makes a suitable stock image?
There is no simple way of describing what makes a suitable stock image as every person have different ideas on the use of the images. The important thing to remember is that clients will buy images that will suit their needs. So try to provide images which fill a certain need.
How do I protect my images from piracy?
Mangotree.ph provides watermarked proofs of sample images and keeps record of purchases made and the types of licenses availed of by its users. We can assist the contributor is exercising his/her Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on parties that are known to have infringed on the Contributor's IPR.
What prices will my images sell for?
All images follow a standard pricing set by Mangotree which are derived based on the size of the image. A small image which is suitable of web-based use will sell typically for 1 credit and increases as the image size increases. Each credit is roughly valued at about PHP 40.00, subject to current market and industry factors.
